Rebecca Minkoff’s iconic Morning After Clutch is one of my favorite bags. It’s big enough to carry all of your essentials, but still manages to stay edgy and eye-catching. However, there is one of my daily essentials that I’ve never managed to squeeze in–My iPad. Thankfully Rebecca Minkoff gave a solution to this problem and created a MAC specifically for the iPad. If I’m going to carry my iPad around with me everywhere I go anyway, I might as well put it in a chic clutch.

This is really at the top of my wishlist this year.

I never know how to dress when the weather starts to change. So this morning, like many others, I rolled out of bed and pulled up Style Caster. (If you don’t use it, you should! It gives you the forecast and gives you three outfit examples of how to dress for the weather.) This morning Style Caster showed me the cutest skirt. It was black, kind of short, and had gold polka dots. (Polka dots are really big this fall. Yesterday it was finally cold enough for me to bust out my polka dotted pantyhose!) Anyway–all day I’ve been obsessing over fancy skirts! You can dress it up with heels and pretty jewelry, or you can dress down with a tee shirt and flats.

Think Pink!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! In order to call more attention to educating women on breast cancer, forms of early detection and raising money for the cause, many designers have lent a hand and produced products especially for this cause!

The pink Tory Burch Eddie Flat is adorable! I can’t think of a better way to make a statement for breast cancer awareness!
15% of your purchase will go The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

One of my favorite gifts to give and receive is candles! And I don’t know a single girl who doesn’t love the smell of roses, which is what makes the Diptyque Roses Pink Candle the ultimate gift.
Diptyque has promised to donate 20% of the proceeds to The Pink Agenda.

KitchenAid designed a raspberry pink stand mixer with the clear mixing bowl that I have been lusting over ever since I saw it in Williams Sonoma.
A percentage of the proceeds will go to Susan G Komen for the Cure.

To Sonia Kashuk, this cause is near and dear to her heart as she is a breast cancer survivor herself. Every year she comes out with several products to raise money for the bcrf.
Target promises to donate 15% of proceeds.

Lastly, I am loving the Tumi carry-on. It comes in several different colors, and Tumi will donate 20% of the retail price to Susan G Komen for the Cure.

After watching a video of Diane Von Furstenberg speak at Lucky FABB, I walked away with two things. One being the success of my life depends on me. It’s up to me to make the best of my career, my family and my relationship with myself general. She’s such a strong, smart woman!

The other being my obsession with the handbag she was carrying. It was the DVF Harper Connect bag. Not only is the bag its self super stylish with the chain strap and tassel detail, but it also has a surprise! It also acts as an iPad case! On the backside of the bag are two zippers! Unzip them, and voila! There your iPad is! I carry my iPad with me everywhere I go anyways, so it makes TONS of sense to have a case built into your purse!

Genius.

Fall Wishlist

As I’m sure I’ve mentioned 800,000 times before on twitter, I am so tired of the heat. It’s been in the upper 90′s for like 2.5 months now, and keeping with a personal tradition, I’ve already started to boycott summer by switching to my fall nail polishes and lipsticks. And while it’s still too hot to start wearing some great pieces for fall, it hasn’t stopped me from shopping for them!

Every one of these items are on my fall wishlist! I love the green leopard DVF wrap, the tan Rebecca Minkoff bag and Nine West boots (How great are these boots BTW??) and the amazing jewelry!

I’m not usually a fan of Chanel polish but I’m not sure I can make it through this fall without snagging Peridot!

Fall 2011 Nails

About the time August rears its swelter-y head I’m ready for fall. It’s still too hot to start buying fall clothes (unless I want to just let them sit in my closet for another two months) so I get my fall fix by buying makeup.

Today we’re going to concentrate on ~~makeup for your~~ nails! I scoured style.com for some good pictures of runway beauty and pulled some of my favorite polishes that follow the trends.

Chanel Couture girls sported a gorgeous blue. Get a good match with Dior Tuxedo or OPI’s Yoga-Ta Get This Blue.

D&G models wore a flashy purple. I like Illamasqua in Poke and OPI for Sephora’s Domestic Goddess.

The girls at Gucci wore matching red lips and nails. OPI’s Vodka and Caviar and Chanel’s Dragon are both great picks.

Gray manicures were all the rage at Rag & Bone. Go with Rescue Beauty Lounge in Stormy and RGB in Steel for this look.

3.1 Phillip Lim kept it down to earth (as did many other fall 2011 shows) with a nude manicure. You can’t go wrong with Butter London’s Yummy Mummy and Deborah Lippmann’s Naked.

Or just do what the Marc by Marc Jacobs models did and go au natural!
